Hello all,
How many of you have Reasons Software and just can't get to work with your Host software? Setting up Reasons as a Rewire. I know some of you would like to know how to set up Reasons in you host recording program Well heres how you do that. Frist open up your host program ( ProTools,CakeWalk,Acid,ect.... ). Open up an Audio track ( stereo track ) in your host program. Now open up an Aux track ( stereo track ) in your host program and call it Reasons, now open up your plugin Reasons, you now have a Rewire. In your Reasons track open up a Send ( buss 1-2 ) set it to 00dbs Now goto your Audio track and were you see Input 1-2 click that and make it Buss 1-2 make sure you have set your Aux track to 00dbs to hear sound. In your Audio track arm it in Record to see and hear sound. You don't have to keep creating Aux tracks to get new Rewire tracks just open up another Audio track and Buss it to 1-2. With a Rewire like Reasons you are working with Midi and then Recording it to Audio you will hear the same Effects as you did in Reasons but in Audio. I hope this has helped all of you in understanding how to set up a Rewire. Ken Sutton WaterFall Records. Sweetkenny Sound. copyright 2006
