I was just wondering what everone on the board was doing musically, whether writing, recording or gigging regularly. What challenges, as a musician, have you faced? What was the most stunning moment/s in your current project? What are your ultimate goals? Music, even though it seems so glamorous to those on the outside of it, is work. musically the scene is great here in cincy.lot's of place's to perform.cincinnati is very similiar to the burg.i stay busy here musically and i am a soloist.anyway looking forward to my visit.this is a great site by the way.

my only goal's as a musician is to be able to keep performing as long as i can.to be blessed with the good health to do it.which i enjoy now.when i was a child i wanted to grow up and play guitar and sing.i got my wish.i am not rich nor famous but very happy in what i do.people tapping there toe's or smiling to my music mean's a lot to me and i am sure every other musician.so i wish to thank all those wonderful people for listening .

If you enjoy what you are doing, 9 out of 10 chances, that relays to an audience, and in turn they will also enjoy what you are doing. It is tough out there in the perfect world. Unless people enjoy live music, the average Joe is looking for something that sounds like a DJ and karaoke. Just keep on keeping on, love what you do, and your audience will be there

I Have written alot of music for a concept album "Io" recently ive strayed from the writing for the story, so i pretty much scrapped it. all the music is really great though. the songs still retain their meaning, and are strong enough to stand on their own. I have a rediculous amount of riffs that dont belong to songs. ive been playing around with stringing them together to make songs. but i cant decide which goes where.
